We are a travel agent based in London and have a client who is a UK passport holder travelling from Kuala Lumpur to London via Ho Chi Minh.

She will not be leaving the airport at Ho Chi Minh but cannot check her baggage through to London. This means that she will need to collect her bag at Ho Chi Minh and then re-check it in for her onward flight to London.

I've been trying to call the embassy in KL but no one is picking up the phone. I presume it will cost a lot more to get a travel agent to do it- am i right? I am British National. I will be flying on MH (Malaysia Airlines) and transit in Ho Chi Minh to destination Da Nang on Vietnam Airlines. Can I get Vietnam Visa on arrival? Is 2 hour transit time enough for stamping Vietnam visa? (i.e arrival time at HCM and departure time from HCM to Da Nang is 2 hours)? Or should I stamp visa at Da Nang airport. Please advise!

I was just wondering about the date on my Vietnam visa approval letter.  Does it mean I need to be out of Vietnam by that date?  Or is that the last date I can enter Vietnam.
